An exhibit of some of sculptor Daniel González’ artworks was held from 18 December 2019 to 30 January 2020 in collaboration with contemporary art gallery Galería José Lorenzo.
The exhibition once again revealed how important this artist was among the avant-garde sculptors of the interwar period. His outstanding art is a pure revelation, making good on Rodin’s formal contributions and Matisse’s work in sculpture. Escultor Daniel summons a forceful, intuitive and beautiful “return to order” that is well-grounded in his complete mastery of the primordial art of drawing.
